Jack Arnold
Journalist vacationing in Luna, who hoped to pick up a story while he was there. He was trapped with several Lunar employees in a recently constructed tunnel when a mail rocket crashed nearby, causing a moonquake. He and the others survived by plugging a leak by sitting on it until rescuers arrived.

Paymaster for Richardson Observatory. He gave Jack Arnold a tour of the tunnel construction and was trapped with him after a crashed rocket ruptured the tunnel's seal.

Lunar worker trapped with Jack Arnold and Knowles when a crashed rocket ruptured the seal of the tunnel they were touring. He plugged an air leak by sitting on it.
