New Horizons . . .

Post New Horizons . . .
It's too bad the New Horizons probe only flew by Pluto.

It would have been helpful for it to orbit the "dwarf planet." Then maybe we would have seen the remains of the Wormfaces' base.

I write about astronomy and spaceflight for the Vatican Observatory Foundation. Forgive me for treating your jest as though it were serious-- I know better-- but since I wrote something relevant a few months ago, I'll link to it.

If you're wondering why New Horizons was a flyby and not an orbiter, I offer a few ideas.
