That does look more practical than most of the designs I've seen. I'm guessing you still have to be a licensed pilot, at least. Since it's a gyrocopter I wouldn't think a helicopter license would be required. Still not the flying car described in The Puppet Masters (the one I want) but a step in the right direction.
