2016 Heinlein Award Winner: Kim Stanley Robinson
Surprised nobody has posted this here yet. Friday evening at Balticon the Heinlein Society awarded the 2016 Heinlein Award to Kim Stanley Robinson. Robinson's "Red Mars", "Green Mars", and "Blue Mars", published mostly in the 1990s, had already snagged two Nebula *AND* two Hugo awards, as I recall.
Despite their different political and economic views, I suspect that Heinlein and Robinson would have agreed about the most important thing -- human beings settling Mars or *somewhere* else than Earth!
