If you look at the current storm track for Hurricane Ike, you see that it's going to scour Cuba from end to end - and is presently a Category 4 blow. Here: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at4.sh ... y#contents Wouldn't it be interesting if this was the blow that topples the Castro government and opens Cuba? Were that to happen, wouldn't it be funny for it to be done by Hurricane IKE? (PS - I see reports that Cuba is evacuating a half-milliion. I can't figure out where... Florida?) |

If not regime change, I hope at least that the mountains of central Cuba dissipate Ike's energy enough to spare my friends in south Louisiana more misery. |
