Forty-four years on... and the first 7/20 in quite some time where I hold some small hope that we've finally found the real path to space.

Here's to Armstrong, Collins and crotchety old Aldrin, and everyone who put them in orbit and got them back, and to the new generations of D.D. Harrimans that might yet fulfill our juvenile-fed dreams.

Here's a from the 40th anniversary press coverage that I wasn't aware of until today. It's ten supposed facts that most people likely didn't know about the moon landing. Quite interesting (to me, anyway), especially if they're true. I'm skeptical, if only because the URL refers to "apollo-ii" instead of Apollo 11.
