There is a new film adaptation of the Nutcracker. In 3D. Which is really an amazing innovation because every production of the Nutcracker I've seen has been in very realistic three-dee. It appears to have won the crown for the worst movie of 2010, a complete sweep on all fronts. The reviewers are falling all over each other trying to describe just how wrongheaded and baffling this "adaptation" is. The best collation of reviews so far is on , which, not surprisingly, has an aggregate score for this masterpiece of ZERO percent. Run, do not walk, away from the nice ticket-seller. |
