Post Glimpse Learning Curve on Google Books
Personally, I found them tracking mention of geographical sites on a map fascinating.

Don't recall whether I mentioned it anywhere, but heard yesterday from Stacy that she is sending out one advance copy each to me and to the Prize Trust. Too late to get here in time for Comic-Con, but that means I will have one copy to show around at NASFiC.

Anybody else going to NASFiC? Since Tor isn't planning to do anything official with the book, I thought I would open up a hospitality room for one or more nights for people to drop by etc.

But not terribly precise, I fear. Out of curiosity, I looked at a location relatively close to me (La Jolla), and found that the actual mention was a street in West Hollywood, not the city/town/village of La Jolla (what is it? I go there for dinner occasionally, but don't know what their official designation is).

But I'd agree, it is interesting.

I just read over the decription of RAH's marriage to Elinor Curry as described in _Learning Curve_. Bill P openly speculates: Why did she want to get married at all?

Is there any indication that she thought she was pregnant by Heinlein, and that they got married on that basis? That would be consistent with the details as presented (the impromptu-ness of the marriage, the appearance of lovelessness, a divorce soon after she realized she wasn't pregnant, etc.)

Ohh noes, we've just proved that Bill Patterson and Bill Mullins *are really the same person*. How many more of us are they?
