Post Heinlein FAQs on the society website
We are going to up date the FAQs on the website and I'm asking for your help. In addition to updating the existing content, which is still quite good even though some of it is 10 years old, we want to add new.
I'm sure many of you can help and I'd appreciate answers too. It's an excellent opportunity to highlight new info that you've discovered. Please post here or on the Facebook page. Cheers.

A link URL would be helpful.

You guys have a lot of knowledge. How about sharing? Here are 10 of the questions from the Heinlein website FAQ Works file. Please help me by offering up an answer. Or offer a new question or jazz up one of these questions. Answers too please. Share your knowledge. Thanks.
7. Was Heinlein a racist? 8. What race is Eunice in "I Will Fear No Evil"? 9. What race or ethnicity is Juan Rico in "Starship Troopers"? 10. What race is Rod Walker in "Tunnel in the Sky"? 11. Was Heinlein a sexist? 12. From reading Heinlein's books I've come to the conclusion he was a devote Christian/absolute atheist. Was he? What were Heinlein's religious beliefs? Did he believe in an afterlife? 13. From reading Heinlein's books I've come to the conclusion he was a Fascist/Libertarian/liberal/conservative. Was he? 14. Which version of "Stranger in a Strange Land" is better, the 'as originally published' or the later 'uncut' version, and why are there two versions? 15. Is there a real Church of All Worlds ala "Stranger in a Strange Land"? 16. Did Poddy die at the end of "Podkayne of Mars?" 17. Did Lazarus Long die at the end of "Time Enough For Love"?

There are good answers to many of these on the www.nitrosyncretic.com/rah/ site. THS is welcome to copy and or adapt any of the answers that are applicable.

Thanks Jim. I know your FAQs. I've been to your site many times before and was at your site last week. Until now, without your permission, I wouldn't have borrowed from your site. While you're being so gracious would you also grant permission for THS to use material from the Centennial Souvenir Book. I'm always looking for material to use on the THS Facebook page. I should stipulate that when I refer to myself I'm talking on behalf of The Society. Deb asked me to update the FAQs and I'm also moving files from the old Heinlein site to the new site. Cheers from the cold and rainy Pacific Northwest.

David - Yes I will. I'm glad you mentioned my posting here. I wasn't aware of the reluctance to use Facebook. I'm not fond of Facebook either and resisted it for quite a while until Mike Sheffield asked me to be an Admin. Now I find it's an affective tool to spread the word on RAH. In some instances I use Facebook to notify readers of articles on the THS site or other's sites and post a link. Sometimes I post links to other's Facebook pages. I hope the Forum members will use those links. I'll place them here too. I don't come by here very often because Facebook and the stuff I'm doing for Deb keeps me plenty busy. I'll try and come by here regular. Cheers.

Jim - If I use anything I'll give you credit. I've referred to the Nitrosyncretic Press site (I bought mine there) Twice on Facebook with a link and explanation about the Centennial Souvenir Book as a source of those hard to find articles and some great pictures. I've referred them to your book as well. Usually when I get any questions about publishing dates I refer them to your book. Thanks for sharing your Heinlein FAQs. Cheers.
