Definition of "m-r twins?"
I have been vastly enjoying my Virginia Edition but have a question concerning TIME FOR THE STARS. This is the juvenile novel where one twin goes on a starship and communicates with another earthbound twin via telepathy. All thoughout the book the communicating twins (many sets) are referred to as "m-r twins" or "m-r people" or, I think, even just "m-r"s. I somehow missed what these letters stand for. I even bought a Kindle copy of the book just to do a search. But I guess the term was first defined as two complete, hyphenated words and then later just shortened as the hyphenated initials. So a search just finds me the first use of the acronym but not what it stands for. I checked the concordance here and there doesn't seem to be a definition. So, on my first post here, figured I would ask -- anyone know???? Thanks!

Thanks, Ed! I'll be posting more here and this looks like a great place for RAH fans. Sorry I did not find it sooner.
