 Plan 9 From Outer Space meets MST3K , and live (except for the west coast, which is tape delayed). One night only, August 20: the Mystery Science Theater 3000 gang riffs on the worst movie ever made: Ed Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space.

Re: Plan 9 From Outer Space meets MST3K I was utterly astounded to find it playing in several local theaters - I'm so used to this stuff only being in major cities. I guess the new digital theaters, most of which have direct-delivery systems set up, are as easy to hook into these events as dialing up a cable channel.
I might go - I am disappointed to be in the tape-delay region, though.
