I am, over and over again, solidly impressed with John Grisham. His storytelling powers are so brilliant that I am spellbound by events in settings I would normally be bored by. Rather than give away the slightest of the devilish twists in this masterfully plotted odyssey, just read the freakin' thing. He makes every page as intensely readable and accessible as a good friend. The verisimilitude is unassailable. H even pulls off a change of viewpoint that would be roundfiled by any editor without a second thought if attempted by virtually any other author. You get your money's worth, and then some. |
