A scene right out of Farmer in the Sky, captured last Sunday through an 11-inch Celestron telescope by an amateur astronomer in the Phillipines:


I was going to read the whole forum before starting to post, but couldn't resist this. Io is casting its shadow across Ganymede. More info on this can be found on .

is a great site for them. You can download these as Quicktime
movies. is one of my favorites (click on the
