A Connection Between Friday and Puppet Masters?
The Heinlein Wikipedia article (you there, stop snickering!) claims that Friday has "suggestions of connection to The Puppet Masters." There is no explicit citation for this.
Does anyone know what it might be? I've read both books multiple times, but can't place any connection.

Both are written in English? I'm drawing a total blank.
Happy personal anniversary day, though!

Re: A Connection Between Friday and Puppet Masters?
I've always wondered if Kettle Belly (the "Gulf" version) is based in part on any Heinlein acquaintance(s). He reminds me of a cross between Hassan-i Sabbah (head of the Assassins) and William Donovan. As for the "connection," "after all, it's Wikipedia."

Re: A Connection Between Friday and Puppet Masters?
Right. "Kettle Belly" Baldwin is shared between "Gulf" and Friday, and IIRC there are some inconsistencies. The old man in Puppet Masters is unrelated.
However, just to be cranky and continue the confusion, I maintain that Doc Marlowe was Lazarus.
