I have the pleasure to inform you that Solution Non Satisfaisante: Heinlein et L'Arme Atomique, edited by Éric Picholle, is now in my hands.

Éric translated Heinlein's "Solution Unsatisfactory" into French for the first time. He also wrote a chapter about Heinlein and the Bomb, and translated chapters by me and by H. Bruce Franklin.

Publisher's site:

I wrote a short biography of Robert Alden Cornog, Heinlein's friend. He was a nuclear physicist, a Los Alamos engineer, and a missileman. I also discuss Cornog's connections to RAH's fiction. The two of them kicked around story ideas and scientific notions; Cornog served as a model for more than one Heinlein character. More on my contribution:

It's a fine-looking book on an important subject in Heinlein studies. Congratulations to Éric and to Anouk Arnal for their efforts in putting it together.
