is a podcast that that I can recommend to forum members for a couple of reasons. The podcasters are fairly young science fiction fans that are specifically reviewing books and their movie adaptations. In many cases they are reading the book or viewing the movie for the first time in order to review them, so their viewpoints are sometimes painfully fresh.

I was first alerted to an with our own Keith Kato via . Mr. Kato gives a good introduction for a science fiction fan coming fairly new to Heinlein and discusses his work, legacy, and possible other movie adaptations.

There are also two reviews of Heinlein material, for the movie Predestination and the short story, All You Zombies--, and the for Starship Troopers and its movie adaptation. It is clear from the reviews that the podcasters are not very familiar with the Heinlein material, which is why they reached out to the Heinlein Society. I think they did a good job of covering some of the problems of adapting All You Zombies--, and the solutions that they film makers used. In the Starship Troopers review they express some surprise over the director's adaptation choices and regret the missing powered armor. Both were interesting listens for me.

Thanks for the links, LilLeaguer!

Keith Kato did misspeak toward the end of the interview: membership, etc., in the Heinlein Society is on a per-annum basis, not per month. I left a comment on the web page to that effect.

Correction: The title of the podcast should read Take Me to Your Reader.
