Roughnecks Galore
If image embedding works, I'll show you what I scored at a library sale:
["It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."]
Guess not. Check out .
Five DVDs of Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles, for a buck apiece!
Roughnecks was a computer-animated TV series that ran for 40 episodes in 1999 and 2000. It's an adaptation of the Starship Troopers universe considerably closer to the spirit of the novel than the obnoxious feature film was. I think it was the best screen version of published Heinlein material before Predestination came out. Each disk features five episodes.
According to Wikipedia, eight DVDs were released. I have:
2. The Hydora Campaign 3. The Tophet Campaign 5. The Zephyr Campaign 7. Trackers 8. The Homefront Campaign
Missing are #1, The Pluto Campaign, #4, The Tesca Campaign, and #6, The Klendathu Campaign. Leaving plenty of CGI goodness to enjoy. (Sadly, Trackers holds only one original episode, and is padded with four "clip shows" compiled from scenes from other episodes.)

Re: Roughnecks Galore
Terrific score, Bill! I had caught some of one of the episodes on youtube and had seriously springing for the DVDs on amazon, where they average $10 each. (Or you can drop $96 for all eight of them in a nifty collector's box.)
Congratulations!

Re: Roughnecks Galore
I have the complete series on DVD but I paid more than a buck a disc for them.

Re: Roughnecks Galore
Gee, Bill, and you didn't spring for the Bobbsey Twins?
Congratulations on completing your set!
