"God Bless America"
You've probably never heard of it - I hadn't - as it ran in about six theaters and grossed a whopping $122k, but I was fortunately recommended to see "God Bless America" and spent last night in a wheezing state of oxygen deprivation laughing at it.
That after having to wait forever for Netflix to get it and have it available, but the sad decline of NF is a tale for another time.
GBA is probably too raw and brutal for most of you gentle folks, but I was idly accused of having written it and couldn't be more pleased with the compliment. It should be required viewing for all American Idull and reality TV fans. (In other words, most of Our Great Nation.)

Re: "God Bless America"
I've seen this selling fairly well at my local Wal-Mart.
Wasn't sure if it was worth seeing but I've now added it to my Netflix queue, thanks for the recommendation.

Re: "God Bless America"
It's on Netflix streaming as well. No need to wait for a disc.

Re: "God Bless America"
I do not have streaming since I cannot get a fast enough net connection out here in the boonies, the lone internet provider has not gone high speed, just low end DSL.

Re: "God Bless America"
Yah. Netflix is not a particularly practical option for me either, although we *could* do it. Our TV isn't hooked up to the Internet, so I'd have to hook up my laptop computer. Although we have broadband cable (quite fast), the speed is cut by 1/3 to 1/2 because of WiFi. For movies, we stick to DVD or BlueRay, which means we tend not to bother unless we're pretty sure that we'd want to watch it more than once.
