Heinlein's nonfiction article "All Aboard the Gemini," from the May 1963 Popular Mechanics, is available from Google Books. Illustrations are included.

The first two pages are taken up by a fictional space-ferry scenario set in 1984. Only then does Heinlein get around to mentioning Gemini. Could be a bit confusing to readers.

I believe that piece was extensively rewritten by the PM editors. Has anyone compared Heinlein's original ms with the published piece?

Take good care with the effort when you do find time. It's something I'd be deeply interested in and we can find a place here for a well-written analysis.
