Yes, I know I live in Canada, but the weather in Victoria is milder than that in Seattle. Nevertheless, right now we are on day 10 of snow sticking, and it's a foot thick and drifting outside. Worst in the 10 years I've been here. Got the wood stove going full tilt. I know, the . Still, I gotta get to the airport tomorrow for a flight to L.A., which among its many disadvantages possesses the notable advantage that I will not need to put chains on my car there. Meanwhile our petsitter will have to slog through drifts on our driveway half as tall as her. Seems inevitable that the stuff will stick around to Xmas day. Happy Holidays! |

Aw Peter........ <s> how about a trip here to minnesota? 12 inches on the ground, 30mph winds and temps hovering around 0 F- the cars even creak and complain (like my teen shoveling the driveway) Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas - not politically correct but heartfelt Nick ps the dog runs out, squats close to house, and runs back to the door LOL it's the dirty look from him i don't get <G> |
