Simply the best book to reveal the truth about crime and corruption in the financial industry and its spread to government and academia. If you were mad before, you'll want to hit something as he lists names and how they avoided prosecution for actual crimes. These are not victimless offenses, not isolated incidents, not just a few bad apples. Read and see just what it's costing you and the horrendous direction this near-universal malfeasance leads in. Never truer was the bumper sticker: "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention."

Thanks! I just added it to my audible.com wish list and will pick it up next month when I collect my credits.

By the way, for a terrific read (or listen) on the 2007 housing / financial crash, I highly recommend Michael Lewis' "." I saw him interviewed on The Daily Show when the book was newer and, when Jon Stewart asked him why the SEC was, and remains, so clueless throughout the debacle, he said it was primarily because the SEC doesn't hire people who understand finance, they hire lawyers. They have no clue what's going on in the churning pit of filth they're charged with regulating.
