Post Friday A "Trans Novel"?
Interesting, though not convincing:

Of course, the author feels compelled to harp on Heinlein's "gender binary" outlook. How to explain IWFNE? "Classic transvestite fiction."

Though Heinlein explored far beyond the mainstream for when he was writing, the big problem today's progressive genderation seems to have with him is that he thought that being a man or being a woman was great, the differences to be treasured. Cissy!

His most egregious offense was pointing out how unhappy are almost all those who are confused about what they are. The fact that it's true makes it all the more egregious.

"There comes a time in the life of every human when he or she must decide to risk 'his life, his fortune, and his sacred honor' on an outcome dubious. Those who fail the challenge are merely overgrown children, can never be anything else."
