If any of you have a fondness for film bios and books about film, I highly recommend Scott Eyman. Excellent researcher, fast reads, not a boring page in any of the books I've read so far. He's done bios of Louis B. Mayer, Cecil B. Demille, and Mary Pickford. He's also written the definitive book on the shift to talkies in "The Speed of Sound." Still trying to track down copy of his book about Ernst Lubitsch.
