Alec Nevala-Lee, , is working on a biography of John W. Campbell, Jr., a narrative intertwined with the lives of three of his most important writers. The publication date is next August.

Yet already Astounding: John W. Campbell, Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, L. Ron Hubbard, and the Golden Age of Science Fiction has been announced, . And theoretically, it can be pre-ordered from several online sources with links the publisher helpfully provides there.

Thought you might like to know.

I met Alec at the 2016 WorldCon. I believe he has something in the queue for an issue of the Heinlein Journal, but since I'm not heavily involved in anything editorial with THJ I'm not positive. I think the book will be a good addition...he had some interesting thoughts in person, not that I can remember any. :(

Alec Nevala-Lee has submitted his manuscript, , along with a few thoughts about SF writers and biographies.

So the book is in the hands of the publishers now.
