If we can count the supporting characters from Starman Jones and Citizen of the Galaxy (Baslim?). Then how about the uncle in "Time For The Stars". If I recall correctly he gets swallowed by an ocean going creature.

...and Dr. Baldwin in Friday...although perhaps he does not put in enough appearances to warrant inclusion in this list. And do we count Mary Sperlings 'transformation' in Methuselah's Children?

I'm not going to try and argue or defend any positions; this is merely intellectual exercise. :)

I thought I had included Friday (for Dr. Baldwin's death). TFTS probably qualifies for the uncle. I'm drawing a blank on Cat except for the stuffed shirt who is killed in the opening scene and the possibly mythical Walker Evans, neither of whom qualify, IMVHO. Mary Sperling, nah - neither her mind nor body dies, they just go separate ways.
