Hey, good for Elon! I'm really surprised that iRobot hadn't gone down this route more thoroughly than they have. They're the makers of Roomba, a home vacuuming robot. They also make much more sophisticated robots for bomb-defusing, combat, office-cleaning and medical applications. They've had the technology for several years to put it all together into a proto Flexible Frank, but it seems they've gone in a different direction. You can read all about iRobot here: . |
