I showed up for Friday of Loscon. Anyone else here go? I didn't go to any of the parties, just a bunch of panels and the evening theater.

Heinlein connection: John Scalzi was guest of honor. I said Hi. Some discussion of Heinlein in a panel on H. G. Wells. I speculated that Heinlein's early socialist leanings could be attributed in no small part to his admiration for Wells, who also had a pronounced list to port.

Didn't make it because my husband and I moved from the LA area to Reno a couple of months ago. We were actually in the LA area over Thanksgiving, but had to finish moving out of our old apartment, so there just wasn't time. Next year, though.
