Sir Richard Burton
I've made allusions to my current interest and focus of efforts, but here, now, for the record: I have brought live my new web site dedicated to the life, works and legacy of Sir Richard Francis Burton.
If you're interested, you'll find the site and links to the Burton forum system at .

Re: Sir Richard Burton
They both look like English cricketers of the late Victorian era, the kinds who would in private paddle the wife and/or dress up in her clothes. (Yes, well, Freddie Mercury... never mind)

Re: Sir Richard Burton
I have long believed Burton is both fascinating and important (they often go together, but not always), and I am very pleased to see him getting some Gifford-love. No doubt I will end up financially supporting the results.
