Post Tad Daley: Apocalypse Never
I met Tad Daley at the Heinlein Centennial in Ought Seven; we were on a very lively panel together about Heinlein and nuclear weapons.

Tad has a new book out, . On the C-SPAN BookTV schedule (my secret vice), I noticed that he appeared last weekend.

If you want to catch Tad's talk, it's available in C-SPAN's library of streaming videos.

He speaks forcefully about his book-- which is dedicated to Heinlein, among others-- and about the risks of nuclear war. He raises the hope of eliminating nuclear weapons. I note that one chapter near the end of the book is entitled "How It Might Happen: Transforming Abolition from a Utopian Fantasy into a Concrete Political Goal." Worth a look, if you have an interest in such matters.
